Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

Dear Mohave Families,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to another exciting year at Mohave High School! As I enter my second year as principal, I am proud to lead a campus where students are not only encouraged to achieve academically, but are also supported in developing the character, resilience, and confidence that will carry them far beyond high school.

At Mohave High School, “Rise Above” isn’t just a slogan—it’s a mindset. It means rising above challenges, excuses, and anything that might hold us back. Being a T-Bird isn’t about being perfect—it’s about showing strength, resilience, and the determination to grow. Our dedicated staff is here to help every student unlock their potential and rise to new heights.

Student Body President Adrian Vollaire shared this powerful message about what it means to be a T-Bird:

“To be a T-Bird is to rise above. Rise above low expectations. Rise above the labels others try to put on us. Rise above our mistakes, our struggles, and our past. At Mohave, we believe every student has the ability to succeed—not just the ones who check the right boxes or follow a perfect path. Every kid can rise if they’re given the opportunity and the support. If we set the standard low, that’s all our students will ever reach for. But if we challenge them, believe in them, and give them the tools to grow—they’ll rise higher than any of us imagined. Because to be a T-Bird is to rise above.”

As a school community, we are committed to preparing all students for life after high school by focusing on the 3 E’s:

  • Enroll in college, trade school, or university

  • Enlist in a branch of the military of their choosing

  • Employ with the skills, knowledge, and industry credentials needed for success in the workforce

Through strong academics, Career & Technical Education (CTE), Fine Arts, Athletics, AFJROTC, and a wide variety of student clubs and organizations, we aim to provide meaningful pathways for every student. We also offer advanced opportunities including AP and Pre-AP courses, along with Dual and Concurrent Enrollment through our partnership with Mohave Community College.

I encourage every student to get involved. Join a club, try out for a team, audition for a performance, or take a challenging course. High school is a time to learn, grow, and discover who you are—and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Together, let’s make the 2025–2026 school year one of growth, achievement, and rising above.

Welcome to Mohave High School—home of the T-Birds!
